Video: Thief Loses His Arm After Stealing a Man’s Air Jordans
Black men, I got a serious fucking question for yall.
How is it that when a Black man, a husband and father is robbed for some Jordan Sneakers by a Black youth he goes in for murderous vengeance;
but when a Black man, a father has his child, or another family member
murdered by a White vigilante or cop he opts for prayers and appeals to
the US Justice System?
Seriously, I don’t understand WTF is going on in the heads of my Brothers.
I’m not speaking from a point of naivety either, I’ve been robbed at
gunpoint more than once, I’ve had to fight Brothers trying to steal from
one of my little businesses; I too intimately know what it feels like
to have someone take your shit right in front of your face; but I’ve
never have felt murderous rage, only the Fight-or-flight response, usually.
Why we got so much fucking rage for each other, yet, non-Blacks can
take our lands, our lives, and our very culture from us; and we don’t
pull guns, at best we pull protest signs?
Actually, I know the
answer; but we need to bring this to the fore, bring this shit up in the
barbershop, at the basketball court, in them smelly BBQ spots we like
to congregate. It’s time we begin a fucking Cultural Revolution. Talk to these Black men, and listen to them!
Or at the very least make shit equal; don’t do to a Black personal who
violates you any more than you would do to a White person (or cop) who
violates you in the same way. Can we at least start there?
