The Ancestors have spoken!!!
The Williams Sisters, and all other African Athletes need to heed my call to#BoycottRioOlympics.
There are literally trotting through the Blood of our Ancestors and the misery of our African Brothers and Sisters in Brazil.
Even if you can overlook the history of Africans in Brazil, how can you ignore the murder and displacement of thousands of Africans to set up for and provide “security” for the Rio Olympics?
I will not watch those games and I encourage all other Africans of the Diaspora and the Continent to do the same.
We need GAS.: Global African Solidarity on this issue and all other issues impacting our people.
Take the time you would waste watching Athletes trample on the blood of our ancestors and our people and use it to study the history of Brazil, learn Capoeira, or go out and organize games in your own community.
