How many Blacks still believe that White Wealth is based in hard work, sacrifice, foresight, and brilliance?
How many of yall still believe that Black Poverty is based in laziness, a drive for instant gratitude, backwardness, and lack of intelligence?
How many of you were spared, or were later educated to see through this genocidal propaganda imposed on Black people and our ancestors since the 1700s?
I know I was taught this and strongly believed it up until I was 14 years old, and it is truly a debilitating myth that I see Black people still pushing on each other, especially on Social Media.
In fact, I’m surprised at how many disproved, and easily disprovable myths that still abound in the Black community, and in Black minds.
Just some thoughts.
