Most of the Bill Boosters are not aware of Bills ideology, world view,
and what he advocated for; they are groupies. These are people who
think popularity, or the accumulation of massive amounts of fiat
currency means you are good, worthy of worship, and/or correct in your
actions no matter what you do.
This is the Peasant Mentality or
the Divine Right of Kings mentality, where the masses worship the rich
even when they rich demean the masses and the poor. These are
indoctrinated individuals, victims of mass indoctrination.
You
find many in the hood, especially Black men who will support, or excuse
the actions of any Black man who they think have Made It, cuz they live
vicariously through these Black men; they imagine that their success is
evidence that they too can one day have a shitload of money, women, and
status…under the oppressor’s system. Many of those who swear they are
against the System have this dream; and thus support BC.
You
have individuals who swear they are RBG, Pan-African, Revolutionary,
conscious, pro-Woman, and all that, yet support Bill. It’s some
emotional shit, some non-thinking, Pavlovian-type shit. It’s really
sad, but I’m glad it’s happening.
These people swear there’s some
grand conspiracy to bring BC down, yet can’t point to any real threat
that BC posed to the Systems and Institutions of White Domination, like
you said, he didn’t even acknowledge White Domination, so how could he
ever attack or oppose it!
This is what I call New Negro Self
Exposure. There are events that happen in our community or our larger
struggle that allow us to see who’s down, who’s thinking, who can be
depended on to stand on principles and sound analysis, and who’s a
bandwagon riding, non-thinking drone. We can tell who’s into the
Cult-of-Personality and who’s following the mission.
Keep a
close eye on the Bill Boosters in your circles, your organizations, and
your larger community, I sure am. Also, listen to, defend, and support
Black women; on GP; cuz sexism and anti-womanism is also at the heart of
much of this support for BC.
