Pres. Obama In Chicago For Quinn Fundraiser, NU Speech – CBS Chicago
Obama is coming to Chicago this week to speak about the US Economy. Of course, he will not be speaking in the impoverish Black communities of South Chicago, where I live, nope. He’ll be speaking on the North Side, the majority White and Affluent area of Chicago.
I bet chall, he’s gon be going on and on about the Middle-Class, helping the Middle-Class, how he’s all about the Middle-Class, how the Middle-Class is the backbone of the economy and the nation.
Lucky for Obama, the US education system has made the vast majority of the citizenship, especially the Black community ignorant of Class, we all lack any level of Class analysis, and most people don’t even know what it means to be Middle-Class, or what actual Class they fall into. Plus, Middle-Class is a code word for White Workers, just like Welfare is code for Blacks; all stats aside, that’s the reality of it.
I’m not going to listen to that war monger speak, but I’ll read the transcript later to see how often he mentions the Poor and Destitute in this nation, especially since the his most loyal constituency, the Black community, are grossly over represented in the Poor and Destitute categories.
Oh, one more thing I’m sure the usual traffic jams that accompany a visit from the POTUS will reach down to the South Side, so we don’t have to feel totally left out of the spectacle of an Obama visit/photo-op/fundraising stop.
