How does the rule of hypodescent currently affect the psyche of various shades of Black women and what can we all do, men included, to combat and reconcile this?

I was reading your old posts and you make mention of a “death urge” that is embedded in white culture and that you read this in a book but you forgot name of the book and the author. You still can’t recall the details? I was reading a book called White Racism by Joel Kovel, maybe that’s the guy. He focuses on the death urge of white culture. If I’m wrong, then you should check that book out anyway.

Thanks I will check out Kovel’s text, but he’s not the author I was referring to.Derrick Jensen and his two volume work ‘Endgame,’ is what I was refferencing when discussin the “death urge” embedded in Western Cultue and pratices.

Thoughts, ideas or opinions on Nollywood? Any thoughts and ideas for black filmmakers in general?

Nollywood films remind me of the Blaxploitation films in the US in the 70s.I think that in a time of war or ongoing conflict all film is propaganda, and I think Black filmmakers should make it their mission to produce films that feed the liberation struggle and encourage our people.
