Welcome To My Mind-State.

These moments in time are kinda weird for me.  The way the masses feel when injustices are clustered and reported in media, that outrage and urgency people feel;  that’s my constant state. Even when shit is supposed to be all good.  I get called crazy or accused of having negative energy usually, until shit like this goes down.   Then I get to wondering how long until I’m virtually alone in my constant outrage and urgency again.

White Identity & Black Lives.

There’s something I think we are missing as we assert that ‪#‎BlackLivesMatter‬ to White people and their Systems of Governance and Control. When we say that #BlackLivesMatter, and we struggle demonstrate that we are worthy of more than economic deprivation, brutal homicidal policing, substandard education, subhuman portrayals in the media, and all the other degrading conditions and practices the System subjects us to; when we assert...

Black Problems Require Radical Understanding & Radical Solutions

For every 100 White women of reproductive age, there are 99 White men available. For every 100 Black women of reproductive age there are between 80-75 Black men available. The primary reason for these disparities are mass incarceration and premature death; both of which are the result of US economic and social policies.   Our inability to come together, to form intimate bonds, to create and sustain secure families and communities has nothing to...

Insanity Is…

We as a people have never been denied anything we’ve been willing to organize & fight for.  The problem is we keep being tricked into fighting for the wrong shit! It breaks my heart to see yet another generation being mobilized to fight for reform & integration.  We first secured reforms, Constitutional Amendments, and integration in the fucking 1860s!  Yet here we are yet again, seeking the same ineffective solutions to the...
Every single living being on this planet has a defense mechanism. From the thorn of roses to the stingers on bees; to not employ or deploy individual or collective self-defense is to deny your own humanity, your very right to live. Diallo Kenyatta
Love is not, and has never been the answer to oppression, genocide, rape, murder, etc. The only thing that love is the answer to is additional love. Give love to those who love you, and give hell to those who seek to harm you. Diallo Kenyatta. After someone told me that “love is the answer,” in response to atrocities committed against Black people.

I know that most of the world’s people are still religious and spiritual. But why you think black people considering the collective history of slavery and oppression have such a hard time breaking free from religious/spiritual faith or thinking? I think all black folk should just become atheist. I’ve also been told that atheism is white people shit, by some black folk, but to me it’s not coming from that place. Faith has let me and my people down. Can’t be no God.

Black people, across the world are highly religious because, almost universally; as people lose agency (power, influence, access, control) over the material world they become very vulnerable to those who sell them agency in the ethereal world, or the afterlife. If you look at the First World the church is usually weak and more and more people identify as Atheist or Secular.  Just the opposite occurs in the Third World and colonized nations, they...
