On this day in 1770, Cripus Attucks was the first person to die for American Independence.  Thus starting the long and shameful tradition of Black folks (in the US) dying for White causes while refusing to shed blood for their own people’s interest and liberty. 

I’m starting the intense study, recognition, and celebration of African history this month, up to January of next year.  I’ll reserve the superficial review of European history for February.   #flipthescript
